The Deputy Governor of Phuket province has confirmed that the Phuket Sandbox project has proceeded as planned after 14 days of allowing visitors to enter without having to quarantine, despite turnout not being as high as expected, with just over 4,500 people arriving so far, generating an estimated 450 million baht in cash flow. Local residents have expressed confidence in the plan and identified it as a key to economic progress.
